OUR LEARNING APPROACH

A small question.
A whole new discovery.

Play gives children a reason to investigate, communicate and try out their ideas.

Start with what children notice.

A pattern in the sand. A different sound. A tower that keeps falling. Everyday moments can spark questions that children want to explore.

Educators can respond with materials, conversation and opportunities to try again, helping children take their thinking a little further without needing every child to reach the same answer.

Learning happens in relationships.

Play with others creates opportunities to listen, share an idea, negotiate and ask for help. Familiar relationships can give children confidence to participate and take on something new.

Families bring valuable knowledge about their child. Conversations about interests, routines and experiences help connect life at home with learning at the centre.

Different experiences, connected learning.

Movement, music, art, science and outdoor discovery offer different ways to express and explore ideas. The combination varies by centre, so your local page is the best place to start.

At Underwood, the offering includes a dedicated Art Studio and onsite pool. Avoca brings together bush tucker gardens, gymnastics and science. Raceview 2 takes inspiration from Reggio Emilia and has its own Cenaré dining room.
