FOOD & NUTRITION
Fuel for play.
Time to come together.
Fresh meals prepared by our onsite chefs are included in daily fees at our Raceview, Raceview 2, Underwood, Avoca, Officer and Narre Warren centres. We serve halal food and work with families to plan for children’s allergies and dietary needs. Quality food and thoughtful mealtimes are part of everyday care.

QUALITY FOOD, EVERY DAY
Meals provided.
Prepared with care.
Each Expeditions centre has an onsite chef, with chef-prepared meals included in daily fees. We care about the quality of the food children eat and the experience of coming together around the table.
Ask your local team to show you the current menu, explain which meals are served during your booked session and talk through your child’s preferences. Our centres serve halal food; families are welcome to discuss ingredients and preparation arrangements with the Centre Manager and chef.
Your child’s needs.
A conversation from the start.
We work with families to plan for allergies, dietary requirements and food preferences. Please tell us about your child’s needs during your tour and enrolment conversations, before their first day.
Your Centre Manager and chef can discuss the information, individual arrangements and any relevant advice or care plans you need to share. Keep us informed when those needs change. Supporting individual needs does not mean promising an allergen-free environment or that every request can be met without prior planning.
More than a meal.
Mealtimes offer opportunities to communicate, make choices, practise everyday independence and enjoy being together. At Raceview 2, the dedicated Cenaré dining room is part of that experience.
Families and educators can share what is working for a child, from familiar flavours to the routines that help them feel comfortable at the table.
Food questions from families
Are meals included in daily fees?
Yes. Meals prepared by our onsite chefs are included in daily fees at all six Expeditions centres. Ask your centre about its current menu and the meals provided during your booked session.
Do you serve halal food?
Yes. Our centres serve halal food. Please speak with your Centre Manager and chef about your family’s requirements, ingredients and preparation arrangements. We do not make a halal-certification claim here.
How do you support allergies and dietary requirements?
Discuss your child’s allergies, dietary needs and any relevant care plans before care begins. The Centre Manager and chef will talk through individual arrangements with you. We do not promise an allergen-free environment.
Can I see the menu before enrolling?
Yes, ask the local team to show you the current menu and explain mealtime routines during your tour. It is a useful time to discuss your child’s preferences and any questions about food.
