More than practising a skill.

Communicating an idea, joining a group, solving a problem and managing everyday routines all matter as children prepare for their next stage. Play and shared experiences provide opportunities to practise these in meaningful ways.

Kindergarten offerings differ across our centres. The local team can explain its program, the educators involved, session arrangements and what enrolment could look like for your family.

Questions from families

How do I choose a kindergarten program?

Visit the centre, meet the team and ask how the program supports your child’s interests, relationships and transition towards school. Practical questions about routines, fees and session arrangements are useful too.

Are kindergarten programs the same at every centre?

No. Experiences, program arrangements and state requirements differ. Each centre page highlights its offering, and the team can confirm the details that apply to your child.

Can I assume a program is free or funded?

Please confirm eligibility and current funding arrangements with the centre. This guide does not establish a family’s entitlement or list a fee guarantee.
